Do you want to meet other people in your local area who are expecting their babies at a similar time to you?
The Preparation for Birth and Beyond course gives people expecting a baby the chance to get the most up to date information on birth, feeding and caring for their babies from fully qualified and experienced staff.
Preparation for Birth and Beyond - 5 week antenatal course
A 5-week antenatal course delivered jointly by Health Visitors, Family Hub Workers, Midwives and Infant Feeding Peer Support Workers.
It is aimed at first time expectant parents who are between 28 and 34 weeks pregnant. The course covers a wide range of topics to prepare you for the arrival of your baby
All Dads and partners are invited to attend.
Come and meet other parents and find out about:
- what your baby needs during pregnancy and beyond
- becoming a parent, and what it means in practice.
- local support available to you
- labour and birth
- caring for yourselves and your baby
- feeding your baby
It is delivered face to face and virtually to accommodate you

Preparation for Birth and Beyond - Single session
Are you 28 weeks pregnant+? Do you and your partner want to come to a one-off session of 2 hours to meet other parents to be, and discuss preparing for the arrival of your baby?
Then come along to one of our one-off Preparation for Birth and Beyond sessions.
