Personal budgets overview
Personal budgets are intended to give people more choice and control over their healthcare, social care and parts of their education. A personal budget is an amount of money identified by the local authority or the Integrated Care Board (ICB). You and your family may be able to receive some or all of this money instead of services that would otherwise be provided for you.
There are three types of personal budgets. You can see more information on each type of Personal Budget by clicking under "In this section" or by clicking on next at the bottom of the screen.
