Citizens Advice Sheffield provides free, independent and confidential advice on financial and legal issues such as benefits, tax credits, budgeting and debt.

They have a range self-help information and tools to help you get on top of your finances:

  • If you want to know which benefits you may be entitled to you can use the benefits calculator tool. The benefits calculator is free to use, and the details you provide are anonymous.
  • For help with getting on top of managing what money you have coming in and paying your bills, you can use the budgeting tool.
  • For help with starting to deal with your debts, Citizens Advice Sheffield has a step by step guide of what to do.
  • If you need to use a food bank, you will find out how you can access one.
