- Description: In counselling I will offer you a safe space to explore any difficulties around your anxiety, panic, depression, grief, anger, relationships, abuse, trauma and addiction. I value creating a relationship that you can feel comfortable in, so that you can be heard at a pace that feels safe for you. I appreciate that reaching out and being seen is not always easy, so I treat this process with care and sensitivity. I offer specialist therapy face to face and online through Zoom to suit your needs. About Me I have over 16 years' experience of working as a therapist within varied settings; including mental health, relationship counselling, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol services, employment support and currently for the emergency services. I work independently in my successful private therapy practice and I can genuinely say that I am honoured to do the work that I do. I have completed an advanced course in Embodied Relational Therapy which has given me a richer depth to my work as a body psychotherapist. In therapy we can bring our awareness to the subtler ways in which the body communicates, (alongside our thoughts, emotions, physicality and behaviours) to give us a deeper 'knowing' and understanding of ourselves. I am Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy; where I work within their professional and ethical framework, attending regular training and supervision.
