Triple P Discussion Groups: 2 hour interactive sessions, in small groups. The triple P discussion group series includes parent discussion groups on commonly encountered problems. Discussion groups offer one off small group sessions looking at specific issues, with some tailored advice, ideas to take away and try and an additional follow up call.

This discussion topic explores different problems parents commonly face at bedtime and some of the reasons why they happen.

The skills children need to get into a good bedtime routine are discussed and parents are introduced to positive parenting strategies to help prevent problems.

Parents are given specific ideas to plan a good bedtime routine and explore:

  • What are common bedtime routine problems?
  • Why do bedtime problems happen?
  • Keeping track
  • How to prevent problems at bedtime
  • How to stay quietly in bed
  • Behaviour management at bedtime
  • How to manage problems during the night

We will be delivering the session via Microsoft Teams, joining instructions will be given once you have booked in.
