Start Well for Professionals

Session Aims:

A one-day workshop that offers a look into the holistic in depth support we offer to families through the 5-week family programme.
Attending this workshop will provide an opportunity for the practitioner to explore the aims and reasons for the Start Well family programme and how we can all support Sheffield’s Obesity strategy.
Attending the workshop will help practitioners to identify families who would benefit from attending and identify appropriate referrals.
Start Well for professionals is useful for all staff who work closely to support children and their families.
As part of the workshop, we will also explore current health data including obesity rates in Sheffield, oral health targets, immunisation, and air quality.
The programme is a universal service and recommend for families with children under 5 years.
