Safe and Together Overview Day

Session Aims:

As I hope you are all aware Sheffield City Council have adopted the Safe and Together Model as the foundation of how we in Sheffield support families who are experiencing domestic abuse. The Safe and Together Overview Day offers professionals the opportunity to understand how they can work in a way that is domestic abuse informed, gives professionals a shared language that can be used to talk about domestic abuse without blaming the survivor for the abuse they have experienced, and helps to support all professionals to recognise perpetrating domestic abuse as a parenting choice and explore how professionals can hold perpetrators accountable for the harm they cause their children.
