All children within our Integrated Resource have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Allocation is completed in conjunction with the Local Authority SENDSARS team. The Local Authority place a child in Cascade IR and a placement school is then determined by the IR Lead taking in to account the needs of the cohort and each individual's needs.

Our provision supports children with a main area of need of Communication and Interaction with a secondary need of Cognition and Learning and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health.

Each resource plans and delivers a personalised curriculum for our more complex SEND pupils which combines life skills, social skills and targeted intervention. All three school bases use the same approaches to support our learners. Our typical day mirrors elements of the mainstream classroom, alongside a bespoke provision to meet individual targets.
