Longley 4G Ltd and its services aim to relieve poverty, advance education, and provide facilities for social welfare and leisure time to improve the conditions of life for the people of Longley.

We are committed to tackling social, financial and economic exclusion on the Longley Estate.

We aim to increase the use of the community facilities that we own to create a feeling amongst Longley residents that they are involved and play a part in the life of their neighbourhood.

Food Pantry
Longley 4 Greens Community Centre is now a registered foodbank!
We have adapted our foodbank services and now offer a membership to Friends of Longley 4G. The pantry is for residents in S5 who are currently in financial hardship.​

We offer a membership for £4 for 8 consecutive weeks of shopping, and we request a £3 donation each time you shop.

Members select their own shopping and receive on average approximately £20-£25 worth of shopping each week.

WELCOME places
Longley 4 Greens Community Centre provides a social café giving a safe place for any resident of S5 to come and enjoy us for a healthy meal. Recently we have served roast turkey dinner with veg, breaded fish and chips and sausage casserole. All meals are cooked in the on-site kitchen (5* rated).
Toast and hot drink served from 10am - 50p
Healthy lunch served from 12pm - £3.00.

Free Football Library

Thanks to Alive and Kicking and Sport England, we now have a free football library at the centre.

Young people can come into the centre, ask to borrow a ball from the Football Library and enjoy it! The ball must be returned afterwards so other people can enjoy it too.​

If you need access to computers to complete job searches, update your CV or stay connected to your family, book a 1 hour free digital booth session!

Community Champions

We're proud to be part of the Sheffield Community Champion project, co-ordinated by Voluntary Action Sheffield and funded by Sheffield City Council. To find out more about the project, pop in and speak to us.
