Hackenthorpe Community Centre is in the heart of the local community and was, years ago, our local library. Since it was converted to a community centre it has gone from strength to strength and is now used regularly by the community.

Activities now taking place include: two lunch clubs on Wednesday and Thursdays; a coffee morning on the first Saturday of the month: yoga on Monday and Thursdays, Belly dancing on Tuesdays; line dancing Thursdays: Kick boxing on Wednesdays and the 142nd Sheffield Guides and Birley Moor District Rangers Monday evening. We also have a large hall, with a fully working kitchen, which is regularly hired out for parties.
