Doncaster School for the Deaf

Doncaster School for the Deaf is a day and residential school for deaf children from the ages of 4-19 years. We believe that all pupils who are deaf can learn and take an active part in achieving their full potential.

Our pupils access a full curriculum delivered by Teachers of the Deaf in small class groups. In addition, we provide British Sign Language and Deaf Studies tuition, Speech and Language Therapy, Medical and Audiology services.

Time details

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm during term time

Eligibility criteria for your service and any priority groups

We will consider any child for a place at Doncaster School for the Deaf and work alongside the Local Authority in providing only the very best for children and young people who are deaf or hard of hearing in order for each of them to take an active part in achieving their full potential.

We were formed in 1829 and are part of the Doncaster Deaf Trust with facilities and teaching suitable for those who are deaf from ages 4 through to 19.
