Transport (Sheffield City Council)

We have more than 30 years’ experience in providing an efficient and high quality transport service. Daily we transport over 1200 Children and Young people to over 40 schools in the Sheffield area.

We have a large fleet of different vehicles ranging from cars to 17 seat minibuses to meet the majority of your transport needs.

Our fleet is supported by our own vehicle workshops were all our vehicles are regular serviced and have strict safety inspections to ensure vehicle reliability.

All our staff, both office based and travel crews our dedicated to meeting all our customer’s needs. The front line teams are experienced in ensuring that the needs and comfort of their passengers are met. They are in direct contact and supported by our operations centre. All crews wear uniform  I.D. badges and are DBS checked.

Eligibility criteria for your service and any priority groups

The eligibility criteria for transport are set out in the SEN transport policy or at Social workers’ discretion. Additional transport requests can be considered.
