Cairn Home is a purpose built residential home that offers high quality care in the Crosspool area of Sheffield and is well situated with good local amenities. The home is registered for up to 30 people and provides specialist care for people with sight problems, but welcomes enquiries from any elderly person. The home is beautifully decorated throughout and has 3 lounges, one of which boasts a large flat screen TV. All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and have en-suite with toilet, wash basin and bath or shower. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms however they wish and are welcome to put up pictures and use their own furniture. Our dining room is bright and friendly and is where our residents meet to enjoy a wide variety of nutritional meals that are prepared in our kitchen by our dedicated kitchen staff. Our menu's offer plenty of choice and have been designed by the residents themselves who inform us at our regular residents meeting of foods they would like to see on the menu.

We strive to ensure we provide a very high standard of care, centring on each individual persons needs, wishes, preferences and beliefs. During the week we provide a range of activities such as crosswords, quizzes, bingo, music evenings, floor games, newspaper readings. We also have a weekly news session where we share with the residents what's happening in Cairn home.

We enjoy many trips out, some of which include barge trips, peak rail, excursions through the country side, seaside outings, local church lunch clubs and many more all made possible by our very own mini bus. We also have many in house services. We have weekly visits from the hairdresser as well as religious services, chiropodist, PAT therapy dogs, our own laundry service and good links with the doctors who carry out regular weekly visits.

Our gardens are beautifully tendered with a large range of plants and trees and plenty of seating including a wooden summer house.
