Sheffield Bladerunners Baseball (Adult & Juniors) and Softball Club
We pride ourselves on offering these sports to anyone wanting to get involved and are proud to have been a co-ed club for over 30 years. Full training will be given and all equipment will be provided.
Our adult Baseball club, currently operates 4 teams in a Northern League and also trains mid week, including social/fun games. Training is nearly all year round, with indoor training from November to March, outdoor April to September - based at Forge Valley School S6 5HG. The baseball club is co-ed and welcomes anyone wanting to learn how to play.
Our 'Slow Pitch' co-ed Softball provides a fun, social level of play, perfect for anyone wanting to get started. We hold sessions throughout the year and our goal is to involve as many people, with a goal to introduce a Sheffield league and compete in out of town competitions, while still maintaining the fun entry level games and training mid week and at weekends.
The Junior baseball is for boys and girls between 5 and 13. This is run by a team of coaches who are all DBS checked and also work closely with the Arches School Partnership to deliver sessions to local children. All sessions are either 'coach pitch' or 'Tee-ball' based for increased fun and safety and use special soft baseball or tennis balls are used to provide even safer, fun sessions. Sessions last 1 hour, with a goal to play games with other clubs in the North of England.
