Vocational Fitness Courses Sheffield

Origym provides vocational fitness courses for school leavers looking to embark on a career in the health and fitness sector. Origym provides excellent career support including CV analysis, distribution, guaranteed interviews, post course completion and interview preparation to help school leavers find the right placement to become a fitness instructor or personal trainer. 

All personal trainer qualifications are through lead awarding organisation Active IQ and are internationally recognised, so you can utilise them anywhere in the world.  The qualifications are all REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) recognised and standardised by Skills Active (the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure).

Origym helps hundreds of school leavers enter the fitness industry every year and are the only provider operating in the UK helping those who do not want to go to college or university find their way into the fitness sector.

Origym has its very own learning centre right there in the Sheffield where part time and full time courses operate from.

Origym is the only fitness education provider that is aimed at 16-19 year olds to give them a constructive alternative to going to university or college. We work with a number of educational establishments including schools, councils and colleges to promote our services. 

Origym's major USP is that we have catered for disbaled access UK wide by offering home tution if a student requires it and crating both audio and visual resources for the hearing and visually impaired. This is very important as we work with charities like help for heoroes to help former MOD soldiers who have incurred life changing injuries to re-train and inspire others by becoming a personal trainer or gym instructor.

All our tutors are DBS checked in additon to posssessing all the relevant teaching and assessing qualifcations to do the role, giving parents the peace of mind they need. 

As of this week funding is avaiable for those looking to qualify through government backed shcemes as long as the criteria is met.
