CHILYPEP

CHILYPEP works alongside children and young people aged 8 to 25, to find fun and creative ways of involving them in the decisions that affect their lives.

Our aim is to ensure that children and young people can meaningfully participate in the decisions that affect their lives as individuals, as receivers of services, and as members of their communities, neighbourhoods and the wider world.  From one-off consultation events and long term participation projects, to strategic planning and policy development, our key principle is to work in partnership with children, young people and the organisations and agencies that affect them.

We run the STAMP group in Sheffield. STAMP (Support, Think, Act, Motivate, Participate) is a group of young people, aged 14 – 25, working to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people across the city of Sheffield. We influence young people’s mental health services and amplify the voices of young people in Sheffield by campaigning for change in key issues around mental health. We do this as part of the Future in Mind participation work and as the Sheffield CAMHS participation partners.
