Take Your M.A.R.C'S

These classes have been designed for people living with Chronic/Persistent Pain, who are generally unable to attend live classes at Leisure Centres and in the Community. Partnering Pain (Facebook) was set up by Lee Vaughan in November 2022. Lee has lived with Chronic Pain for 31yrs and recognised the need to remove as many accessibility barriers to "Movement" as possible.

Take Your M.A.R.C's ( Movement and Relaxation Class ) was designed in conjunction with the Sheffield Pain Management Teams, and builds on the movement sessions that form part of the programme. The class is every Wednesday morning at 10am, and is lead by a Level 4 Qualified Group Excercise Instructor. The class is only available via Zoom, so participants can take part in the comfort and privacy of their own home. It runs for 45 minutes and is broken into 15 minute segments, incorporating seated or standing movements for yoga, stretch, Xi Gong and Tai-Chi, and ends with 15 minutes of relaxation.
