Bridgedale is a luxury dementia care home with facilities for day-care, respite and residential accommodation, just minutes from the glorious Peak District of Derbyshire.

Bridgedale House has 25 bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and include en suite bathrooms with toilet facilities and walk in showers. Some of our bedrooms are double sized so can accommodate couples or a single resident wanting extra space.

We encourage residents to bring in items of their own furniture to make their rooms feel like a ‘home from home’.

We are happy to redecorate to suit individual needs and preferences to help to make the transition from home to Bridgedale House as smooth as possible.

We have large gardens with a paved patio area and well maintained lawns with cosy tranquil seating areas. We have a large resident’s lounge with ample seating overlooking the beautifully kept gardens with an adjoining Orangery which offer as peaceful area to relax in.

We have a ramp giving access to the tiered garden giving service users with decreased mobility and wheelchair users the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The three floors of the home may be accessed either by the grand central staircase, or an additional staircase situated by the lift, which has access to all floors.

We have a dedicated hairdressing salon where our hairdresser can provide a range of services each week such as perms, colours, trims or a wash and blow-dry to rejuvenate and keep up appearances.
