Breastfeeding in Sheffield
We're proud that 58% of babies in Sheffield receive some form of breast milk at 6 weeks old – higher than the national average! The Milk Trail is part of our efforts to keep improving breastfeeding support in our city.
Breastfeeding is proven to be the healthiest form of nutrition for babies in their early weeks, months and beyond. Breastfeeding helps with brain development and supports babies’ immune systems. It can also provide a range of health benefits for the mother too.
Breastfeeding friendly venues
Thanks to some of our breastfeeding friendly venues for their support with our milk trail.
